About

Mark Mitchum, nationally and internationally known Christian Concert Artist, has been deaf since birth. Thousands upon thousands of people have been touched by his ministry of reaching out to hurting Christians through music, personal testimony, and teaching. A truly gifted performer, God uses Mark to take some of the best loved Christian music and transform it into a breath-taking visual ministry, called "Sign Art". God has used Mark's life and ministry of "three dimensional music" to touch the lives of deaf and hearing audiences alike.

Mark has been featured on the TBN network, and has also appeared with a number of other artists, such as the Gaither Vocal Band, Twila Paris, Babbie Mason, Jonathan Pierce, the Martins, and the Hoppers, to name a few.

Wedding Melanie moved to Texas in 1994 so that she could be a part of Heartland Ministries, which has now become Psalm 40 Ministries. Melanie is hearing. She does all the booking for Psalm 40 Ministries. She also travels with Mark and co-teaches interpreter workshops and serves as his voice interpreter. Melanie works full-time as an interpreter for Sorenson Video Relay Service.
